This was Small Girl's birthday barbecue (strictly speaking her half-birthday - her real one is Boxing Day so we celebrate in summer).
She's been cajoled into a dress (over the compulsory leggings) because all the girls were wearing one. Even, for once, me. It was 28 degrees and this is the coolest garment I have.
We are both wearing cheesy smiles and girly necklaces. I love looking at this pic because it makes me so glad I have a little girl to get all excited about necklaces with!
I love her chubby cheeks!! So cute! and I like that you celebrate her half birthday in the summer. Mine is in December too and it gets lost in the Christmas shuffle. Maria x
ReplyDeleteShe has a very "cheeky" grin! Yes, the half-birthday works out well, she gets two doses of spoiling, like her brother. Makes it fairer I think!
